Silver Lake Conference Center has announced an opening for a year-round Administrator.
Tom Thatcher, who served in the position in 2019, has left Silver Lake to pursue an exciting opportunity in the camping world with his wife, Lisa.
“We are very sad to see Tom go,” said Rev. Ryan Gackenheimer, Executive Director. “Tom brought a high level of professionalism to the Administrator position, as well as a love of camping. Tom was truly committed to making sure Silver Lake was accessible to every child who wanted to attend. It was wonderful to work with him, and we wish him well. His passion for summer camp was contagious, and it will serve him well in his next endeavor.”
The Administrator is a key position on the Silver Lake year-round staff, serving as Registrar for the summer program, overseeing management of the databases, supporting the fundraising program, and offering radical welcome to everyone who visits, calls, or emails.
