Can't commit to the full summer? Join us as a volunteer for a week!

This is a unique opportunity to deepen your own faith while serving as a mentor to children and youth. And you only have to commit to one week, rather than a whole summer.

Complete the Summer Camp Volunteer Application - To indicate interest in being a summer camp volunteer, even if you've been a summer volunteer before.

Bunkroom Counselors must be at least 16 and at least 2 years older than their campers. Counselors are responsible for shepherding the young people in their cabin or bunkroom -- a maximum of eight -- through a week-long program. Learn more about volunteering as a Counselor Deans are adult volunteers who lead our week-long summer programs. They recruit counselors, organize a curriculum and plan a schedule for their week, and oversee their campers while they are at Silver Lake. Deans spend one week at Silver Lake during the summer, but work all year round to prepare their programs.
